Idle Timeout Protection

Most servers will disconnect you if you are inactive for a certain period of time (the duration varies from a couple of seconds to a few minutes). Idle Timeout Protection will intermittently notify the server that you are still connected. This will help prevent you from being disconnected.

To switch Idle Timeout Protection on or off:

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Options.
  2. On the General tab, check or uncheck Use Idle Timeout Protection.
  3. Click OK.

data recovery program partition file restore computer keylogger
mobile phone data recovery data restoration restore windows vista business
usb drive files recovery flash data recovery send group sms
  • You should only stay connected to a server for the time it takes you to perform all your tasks as many system administrators disapprove of users staying connected to a server for a prolonged period of time without performing any action.
