Create Category

Select any tree view item (category or document) to mark the needed level.

A. To add a category, click the Add category button. As result a new category will be added in the selected item level with the New category name.

Other ways:

  • choose in the Main menu the File > Add category item
  • choose in the popup menu the Add category item
  • press the Ctrl + N keys

B. To add a subcategory, keep the Shift key down when click the Add category button. As result a new subcategory of the selected item will appear with the New category name.
You may rename it now or later any time.

Any time you are able to remake a category to subcategory and back:

  • To remake a category to subcategory, simply drag it to any needed level.
  • To remake a subcategory to top level category, drag it onto standard No category category.

Levels amount is not limited!
