Managing Databases

  1. Select the Databases node from the main tree of the program. The Databases  page will appear in the right pane.

    Databases Connections

  2. In the tool bar of the Databases page click New button. Databases Connection wizard window will be displayed subsequently.

    Select Data Provider

Connection to Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL Server

  1. Choose on the one of three first options and click Next.

  2. Specify server name, username and password.

  3. From the dropdown list select database where the data will be extracted from.

  4. Preview tables from selected database.

  5. Type the name of the database connection and click on the Finish button.

Connection to Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, DBASE file, Plain Text file

  1. On the page of Databases Connection wizard choose one of this options.
