Creating Queries

  • Select the Queries node from the main tree of the program. The Queries page will appear in the right pane.
    Create a new query by clicking the New button. You can also edit a selected query by clicking the Edit button. Click Delete button to delete the selected query if it is no longer used.

  • In the tool bar of the Queries page click New button. Query dialog wizard will be displayed subsequently.

    Database Connections

  • To specify a new connection string click on the New button.
  • Click on the Next button to see tables from selected data source. From the Tables list select tables where the data will be extracted from.

  • From the selected fields a SQL query statement will be generated and shown in the next tab page.

  • Preview the extracted data.

    Query data

  • Type the name of the query and click on the Finishbutton to end the process of creating the query.
