Sending Messages

eMailer supports a WYSIWYG html editor. You can add any of the html effects by using the html tool buttons.

Smiley's (Emoticons) can be inserted to the message by right clicking on the message area, and going to the 'Insert - Smileys' section of the popup menu.

Adding a new set of Smileys is also very easy. Just zip up all the smiley images. Also include a file 'Smileys.map' in the archive that contains in each line the mapping for each image name to the smiley symbol and the meaning. Put this zip file in the 'emoticons' directory of your eMailer installation. You can see the sample emoticons archive in that folder and find how the Smily.map file is placed in it. Now place an entry in the 'Smileys.lst' found in the 'data' directory of your eMailer installation. Add another line which gives the name of the smiley group and the path to the archive file.

eMailer allows you to attach any number of files with the message. Simply drag and drop the file to the eMailer window, or press the 'Attach' button and select the file to be attached.

The messages can be saved and later retrieved by the 'Save' and 'Open' toolbar buttons.

The mail can be personalized. Any field in the imported CSV file can be used for personalization. The first line of the imported CSV file should contain the field names that you wish to be used for personalizing the mail. Right -clicking the editor window will bring the pop up menu, which contains the 'Personalize' sub menu.
