Personalizing

Personalization is the process of delivering mail to each recipient, addressing by his name, email or any other field specified. eMailer allows you to personalize on any field set in the imported CSV file.

Each subscription list's configured can have different set of personalizable fields. The first line of the CSV file that map to a list defines which all fields can be used for personalizing.

For, e.g..

Suppose the first line of the 'students.csv' which maps a list named 'Students' is:

ID, Names, Email, Telephone

Any mail send to the 'Students' list can be personalized on any of the above 4 fields. Select the 'Students' in the 'To' drop down. Personalize menu will automatically detect which all fields can be personalized to the mails send to this list. Right clicking on the editor will now display the 'Personalize' menu having the above 4 fields.

Personalizing option can be found at the 'Personalize' menu of the popup menu, that pops up when you right click on the editor window.

Both message and subject can be personalized.
