Configuring SMTP Options

eMailer supports direct delivery of messages, and also user specified SMTP settings.

Direct Connection doesn't require any SMTP servers. eMailer will deliver the mail directly to each recipient mail servers.

Custom SMTP server allows you to send the mails through your own specified SMTP server. eMailer will connect with this server and deliver each personalized mail through the specified SMTP server.

The SMTP options can be configured at 'Configure - Options' menu. The "SMTP settings" in the "EMailer Options" dialog provide the options to choose between the above two settings. For the custom SMTP server option, you can specify server name, server port, user name, password, and choose whether the server requires SSL connection.
