Advanced Email Trace

To perform an advanced trace you have to click either one of the buttons as shown in the image above (fig 4.2) once you have performed a basic trace. An advanced trace will give you a break down of all the hops and give you a link in the analysis to report abuse (see fig 5.1 below):

The identification report will automatically pop up after the trace has finished. You can view the report at any time by clicking the click here link denoted by the number 2 in fig 5.1 above. The number 1 denotes the route table showing the location of each hop along the route. Note that you only get the Report Abuse link and whether the email was misdirected or not when you perform a trace using email headers, and not just the email address.

The trace for this email will now be displayed in your My Trace Reports tab as explained below.
