Import/Export "Canned" Settings

In order to backup your "Canned" Settings we recommend to save Export to the *.xml file. You also can use Export-Import feature to pass* your Canned Settings to your other PC's and/or your teammates' and friends'.

  • Export*: Use "Export" from Canned menu name and save your *.xml backup file to convenient location.

  • Import*: Use "Import" from Canned menu, open your backup *.xml file.

In this version we realized only basic import-export feature, that allows you to backup your "Canned" settings. If you plan to pass your templates and attachments to other PC's we recommend folowing steps:

  1. Name and Create Templates folder on your C: drive. For Example: C:\CannedTemplates.**
  2. Copy all your attachments and Templates to C:\CannedTemplates folder.
  3. Using "Modify" feature from Canned menu edit and browse (link) all your attachments and templates from CannedTemplates folder.
  4. Use Export feature to create settings backup file.
  5. Create C:\CannedTemplates folder on other PC or PCs.
  6. Copy C:\CannedTemplates folder to another PC.
  7. Copy backup file from your computer to the other PC.
  8. Use Canned Import feature on other PCs to import Canned settings from backup file.
