Additional Features

Below is the description of various Print Inspector features not described in other sections of the manual.

• Print Inspector can export data to a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file that can be loaded to other programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Select the Export Report item from the File menu to perform this operation. Also the XLS, RTF, HTM and TXT formats are supported.
• Quick access to printer and print server settings (use the File - Server Properties and Printer - Printer Properties menu commands).
• Quick access to printer management functions such as purging the print queue or pausing the print jobs (Printer - Cancel All Documents and Printer - Pause Printing commands).
• Print Inspector can notify you about some printer events by e-mail or send a network message. For example when a user prints a large document or the document contains a prohibited title.
• Some Print Inspector functions can be protected with a password: stopping monitoring, changing settings, cleaning up the database. To assign a password, choose Edit - Program Settings from the main menu.
