Import Source Tab
On the page you can choose the source from which your data will be imported
Import source types are:
COM Port
Choose "COM Port", if you want to import data from a device connected to your serial port.
TCP/IP*
Choose "TCP/IP" if you want to import data from a remote host, e.g. from an equipment that can be connected to a network via TCP/IP protocol (ex.Cisco, etc.).
File
Choose "File" if you want to import data from a file**.
*Available only in Professional version
**This option could be very useful when testing the parser and the filter, as well as in the case where you already have data received from a serial port and you want to process it and record it to a database.
