Import Options Tab

COM port settings

If you chose to import data from COM Port in the "Import Source" page, then the "Import Options" page will look like the picture bellow:

On this page you can configure the settings of the serial port.

COM Port
Select a port from the list of available serial ports.

Bits per second
Select a baud rate from this list. The baud rate defines the rate, in bits per second, at which the data is transmitted through the serial port.

Data bits
Select data bits from this list. Usually the number of data bits per character is 7 (with parity check) or 8 (without parity check), but can be any value between 4 and 8.

Parity
Select the type of parity check from this list. The available options are "None", "Odd", "Even", "Mark" and "Space".

Stop bits
Select the number of stop bits from this list. The available options are "1", "1.5" and "2".

Flow control
Choose the data flow control method from this list. The available options are "None", "Hardware" and "Xon/Xof".

TCP/IP Settings

Available only in Professional Version.

File

If you chose to import data from file in the "Import Source" page, then the "Import Options" page will look like the picture bellow:

On this page you can enter a filename or choose a file where your data will be stored.
