On the "Import Options" tab choose the communication parameters for your serial device
Next click the "Export Options" tab and choose a file where your data will be stored.
Press the "Done" button and press "Start" button then watch your serial data "pop" into your Excel file.
Then, the moment the data from the selected source arrive, Excel will open and the recorded data will be shown.
