If you chose to export data via ODBS in the "Export Method" page, then the "Export Options" page will look like the picture bellow:

Don't write data to database
Choose this option if you don't want to write your data to database.

Write new data to database
Choose this option if you want your data written to a database.

Keep database connection
Select this option to make ByteWedge reconnect to the database if the connection breaks.

Select file for logging
Select a file where your data will be stored.

Select start cells
This list contains rules for binding the received data to the fields in the Excel sheet in the order they are parsed.

Get Defaults button
Click this button to get the default binding rules for the fields.

Change button
Click this button to change the field name where the current string will be written.

Delete button
Click this button to remove the selected binding rule.

DDE Public Data

On this page you can configure DDE parameters so that other programs can connect to ByteWedge.

DDE Public Data

DDE Server Name
This is the server name for the DDE connection. The server name is always ByteWedge.

DDE Topic Name
This is the topic name for the DDE connection. This parameter can be set manually.

DDE Field Names
These are the field names for the DDE server.

The available field names are:

  • Field1, Field2, Field3:Field(n)

The number of field names depends on the maximum number of fields that you entered on the Parser page.

Get Default button
Click this button to the default DDE topic name.
