Downloading Data in an Intraday Format
Go to "Download Settings" tab and set "Data Range" to 20 days or less. Data interval values will appear in minutes. Data output is available in the following formats: 1,2,3,4,5,10,15,20,30,60,120,240- minutes range and daily/weekly/monthly/quaterly quotes.
Special Symbols
To enter an index symbol directly, precede the root symbol with a dollar sign ("$")
For Example:
$SPX is S&P 500.
$COMPQ is NASDAQ Composite.

Data Range and Time Delay
For the most stocks data is 15-20 minutes delayed. Data Range is limited and can be set at "Download Settings" tab. Maximum intraday data is limited to 20 days.

Downloading Option Prices
Stock options data is not available starting from version 1.5
Downloading Mutual Fund Quotes
Mutual funds data is not available starting from version 1.5 of the product.
Downloading Commodity Futures
Commodity futures data is not available starting from version 1.5 of the product.
Downloaded Data Format
Historical Quotes Downloader receives downloads quotes in a plain ASCII format which makes it compatible with most spreadsheet and charting/technical analysis software packages like MetaStock, Omega TradeStation, TradingSolutions, Microsoft Excel and others.
The structure of the file is:
Symbol (optional), Date (optional), Time (optional), Open, High, Low, Close, Volume
Data fields are comma separated and lines of data are separated by "return + new line" characters.
How to Find Company Symbol
You may look up most of symbols at Quote.com or Yahoo Finance at http://finance.yahoo.com/

Quotes server replied but no data was send back. Either the server is too busy or the ticker symbol was incorrect |
If you are sure that the ticker that you have put in is correct but still getting the message "Connection error or wrong symbol" try changing the quotes server. To do so go to "Download Settings" tab and select another server from "Servers" drop down list.
Canadian Exchanges Quotes
Canadian Exchange Quotes are not available starting from version 1.5 of the product.
