Folders

Before generating your thumbnails, you must modify some settings. These settings will greatly affect the appearance and layout of your thumbnail. Most of settings are optional, and in a default status. Without changing these settings, you still can generate your thumbnails. But Destination folders is a setting you must specify. Furthermore, we recommend you select the Style and specify how many pictures on a page.

Destination folder

Destination folder setting is in Folders page of . It specify the locatiion where all files of your current project will be stored. You can Press the "Browse" button to select a folder, or directly enter the folder in the text box. Using "Browse" button is recommended. We recommend you store your files in a different empty folder, to keep you original pictures unchanged.

Overwrite files

You should pay some attention to Overwrite files options. When the destionation folder have a file with the same name as a file being generated, you have to tell the software how to handle. It will occur when you are modifying an old project. There are three options.

1. Ask for each file: When the software finds a file with the same name, you have to decide whether to overwrite it.
2. Add files only: The software will only add files when it finds no file with the same name. And the software will never overwrite any files with this option.
3. Always overwrite: When the software finds a file with the same name as a file being generated, it will overwrite the existing file without confirmation.

Advanced folder settings

Normally, most users do not need to modify these settings. When you want to customize where to store some sort of files, modify the corresponding section.

• Sections
  Thumbnail files include all the thumbnail pictures of your original pictures. Large picture files include all the picture files to which thumbnail pictures will link. Picture HTML page files include all the HTML files showing the large pictures.
• Folder Options
  When you need to store a sort of files in a different sub folder under the destination folder, choose the "Sub folder" option, then enter the sub folder name in the edit box below. When you want to store a sort of files just in destination folder, choose the "Destination folder" option.
