Encoding MP3 Audio Files
MP3 is the most popular internet standard for web ready audio.
Despite its common usage many developers are unsure which tool to use to encode MP3s for the web.
For most purposes, we suggest you simply use your desktop MP3 software such as Apple iTunes.
For on-demand encoding on your server we suggest exploiting the command line interface of an MP3 encoder such as Lame.
