Timeline Panel
The Timeline panel represents the motion of layers over time.

The Layers List is on the left side of the timeline and is used for selecting layers in the animation. The rows represent each layer in the animation in stacking-order. That is, layers at the top of the list will obscure layers at the bottom of the list in the Document Window.
The Current Frame control shows the current frame of the animation.
Layer's Motion shows the duration of linear motion or fixed position. A single row can include multiple linear motions and fixed positions for one layer.
Keyframes are frames in a motion where you have specified properties (such as position) for the layer. The program calculates intermediate values for frames in between keyframes.
Frame Numbers indicate the sequential numbering of frames.
Animation Duration control bounds the duration of animation (number of frames in the animation). You can change the animation duration by dragging the control left or right.
Visibility control shows or hides layer in the current fixed position. Not available for linear motion because linear motion is always visible.
