Question: I want to buy your product but your online ordering form is an unsecure document. There is no secure key picture at the left bottom. What can I do? I would like to trust but I am a banker:-) I cannot trust. I use Netscape 4.06. Any known problems with your so called secure animation?? Why don't you use shtml?
Answer: These Web page is secure but the frames don't allow to see it. If you type the address of secure form http://www.pysoft.com/registration_fr.html in the Address bar (or Location bar) the animation will be opened without frames and when you type a credit card information you can see the secure key picture.
Question: At some times during working a panel for internet connection appears. I don't know what happens?
Answer: It works an upgrade checking. It can inform you about new version of 2D&3D Animator.
Question: If in the future I lost the program in any event, do I have to purchase another program?
Answer: If your reg. Information is lost, you can simply inform us about your problem and we'll send your registration information for free (our data base contains information about our customers and products they have purchased). If your hard disk crashes and you have lost the program, download the program from our site again, install and enter your registration Information.
Question: I have some problem with the various compression techniques provided while saving an animation to avi. Only the Microsoft Video 1 and Cinepak Codec by Radius compression works. For the rest of the compression techniques namely "Microsoft RLE", "Intel Indeo(R) Video3.2" and "Intel Indeo Video4.4" give the following error "Failed to create file.".
Answer: Sometimes a video compression doesn't work because the computer has old version of driver software. Try to download last version of appropriate driver from vendor's site.
Question: Every time I try to do anything with 3D the text box goes blank or displays 'noise'.
Answer: To fix the problem, try to switch off the "Hardware acceleration" of your video card. Some video accelerators don't work properly with Open GL 3D library, which the program uses.
To switch off video the Hardware acceleration:
- From the Control Panel, choose the Display icon;
- Select the Settings tab;
- Press the Advanced button;
- Select the Troubleshooting tab and move the Hardware acceleration slider to the None position.
Question: I am a man from the Czech republic and I have great problems with czech font in this program. It is not possible to write letters like ¢, ¿, ¨ and so on. Is there any possibility?
Answer: To enter international characters, you need to change language script for the specified font.
Click the Font button and pick the language script from the Script list.
Question: When I open the program, the text colors are not true colors. i.e, in 3d if I click on Dark blue the color comes up a light blue.
Answer: Try to change the color mode of your monitor to "True Color (32 bit)". The color mode can be changed from "Control Panel", by clicking on "Display" icon.
Question: I created a banner with the name *.2DA. My web site provider doesn't except such files. I need to transfer this file to *.gif or *.jpg how can I do it?
Answer: Your animation must be exported to an image, which will be uploaded to your Web site. You cannot insert the .2DA file to your web page because Internet Browser doesn't understand the 2D&3D Animator file format. See more info how to export animation to image at the Exporting topic.
Question: After I evaluate your program I'll consider purchase, but your site was not clear on the 2 versions, no mention of what the Deluxe ver gives me?
Answer: 2D&3D Animator Deluxe allows you to upload images to Web site, use filters, and use spell checker.
Question: How can I add url links to the logo or banners etc?
Answer: If you use Actual Drawing, it is simple:
- Create new web page in Actual Drawing, and insert your image.
- Click Link from the Modify menu.
- In the URL box, type your link, or click the Browse button to choose a file.
- Click Ok to save the link.
