Copying and Pasting Layers

Use copy and paste layers (e.g., images, text, etc.) to add multiple copies of the same layer.

Copy Layer

To copy a layer (from animation to clipboard)

In the document window (or Layers Panel), click the layer.
On the Edit menu, click Copy. (Shortcut Keys: CTRL+C)

Paste Layer

To paste a layer (from clipboard into animation)

On the Edit menu, click Paste. (Shortcut Keys: CTRL+V)
Copied layers are pasted into a position slightly offset from the original layer (5 pixels down and right).

Pasted layers will automatically be named in sequential numeric order.

To delete a layer

In the document window (or Timeline Panel), click the layer.
On the Edit menu, click Delete Layer, or press the Delete button.
