Animation Properties
Every Animation has basic properties like size, timing and background.
These properties set the overall appearance of the animation and don't change during the animation playback.
To change Animation Properties
- Select Animation Properties from the Modify menu.
- The Scene Properties dialog box appeares.
Animation Size
Resizing an animation only resizes animation dimensions; it does not resize layers within the animation.
When you mouse-over a resize handle, a resize cursor appears indicating the handle can be dragged in any direction to resize the animation.

You can resize an animation to the most popular banner dimensions from the Modify | Animation Size menu.
To resize animation to a predefined size
- Click Animation Size | Custom Size, from the Modify menu.
- Type Width and Height values.
Animation Timing
The duration of animation depends of the number of frames in the animation. To determine the duration of an animation in seconds you can divide number of frames by the number of frames per second. For example the duration of animation, which has 1000 frames and performs 20 frames per second is 50 seconds.
To change number of frames
Type the number of frames in the Duration box from the Scene Properties dialog.
To change the animation frame rate
Type the frame rate in the Frame Rate box from the Scene Properties dialog.
You can make animation "loop" (i.e., repeat) its playing duration a set number of times or continuously.
To make animation loop
Click an option in the Repeat field, or type a number.
Animation background
The background of an animation can be filled with colors or with image.
- The background area of your animation can be a solid color or a two-color filling.
- If the Two-color Filling button is not down, animation has a solid color background.
- If the Two-color Filling button is down, you can select second color for two-color filling.
Also you can choose a fountain filling or velveteen filling.
To set colored background
- Select the Background tab in the Scene Properties dialog box.
- Choose colors and the filling type.
- Type a non zero value to the Bevel Width field if you want the background has a bevel.
- Type a non zero value to the Outline Width field if you want the background has an outline.
You can apply as a background a tiled image. The image will be repeated across the entire Animation.
