About 2D&3D Animator Window
The 2D&3D Animator work area contains some panels that you can show or hide to get a more comfortable working place. Here are some of the most used components:

- The Properties Panel displays properties for the selected layer, and lets you modify those properties (which properties appear in the panel depend on which layer is selected).
- The Toolbar contains buttons and pop-up menus that let you access common operations.
- The Objects Toolbar contains buttons for creating and inserting various types of objects, such as images, tables, layers and shapes.
- The Document window displays a Animation as you create and edit it.
- The Timeline Panel helps you to manage layers in your document. Layers are displayed as list of names. The most visible layer (upper layer) is displayed at the top of the list.
- The Thumbnails Panel displays small images of files in a specified folder. You can simple drag and drop a desired file to a document window from the Thumbnails Panel.
- The Presets Panel displays ready to use objects, which you can use in your animation. You can simple drag and drop a desired object to a document window from the Presets Panel.
- The Publishing Log panel helps to troubleshoot a Animation publishing process. It displays FTP commands and their results.
To open 2D&3D Animator's panels, use the View menu. A check mark next to an item indicates that the named panel is currently open (though it may be hidden behind other windows). To display a panel that isn't currently open, choose the panel name from the menu.
If a panel is checked but does not appear, choose Arrange Desktop from the View menu.
