Source Options

  • Convert Directory:
The default value is selected, this option make Batch WinFax2TIFF auto-detect and convert all fax files in whole directory.
If you enabled the next "Include Subdir" option, all fax in subdirectories are also processed.
  • Include Subdir:
The default value is disabled, you may click to set it enabled/disabled.
  • Convert Files:
Select this option to make Batch WinFax2TIFF convert files you selected, you can select multiple files.

Destination Options

  • Keep File Date and Time:
If this option is checked, all converted files' date and time information will be kept the same as their original files.
For example, if a winfax file 01.fxd was created on 7/16/2004, 16:28:50, and it is converted to 01.fxd.tif, you will see that the converted file 01.fxd.tif was also "created" on 7/16/2004, 16:28:50, just the same as 01.fxd.
This option enables you sort your converted fax files by their original file date.
This option is also supported by command line mode, the option is [/l].
  • Keep Hiberarchy:
Only valid while "Convert Directory" is selected.
This make all converted tiff in different subdirectories in destination directory.
  • Include Source File Extention:
Only valid while "Convert Directory" is selected.
This option can keep the whole source file name, include extention name in the converted tiff file name. Use "/ke" option in command line mode.
For example, "filename.fxr" will be converted to "filename.fxr.tif" - the source fax file's extention ".fxr" is included in converted tiff file.
This option can avoid overwriting converted tiff files - if you have fax files that have the same file name, for example, fax001.fxr and fax001.fxs, they both will be converted to tif tiff with the same filename "fax001.tif", and one is overwrited. The default value of this option do NOT include source file extention in the converted tiff file name, "filename.fxr" will be converted to "filename.tif" - be sure all your fax filenames (without extentions) are different between each other.
