Catching Up Newsgroups

Catching up newsgroups allows you to catch up with the most current posts. This is convenient if there are many old messages in the newsgroup and you're currently way behind. Catching up a newsgroup will attempt to read the most recent posts in the group, using the Maximum Messages to Retrieve as a starting offset from the most current message in the newsgroup.

Catching up a newsgroup will download the most recent messages in the group, and mark all messages as read.

Catching Up a Specific Newsgroup

• Select a newsgroup from the Server / Newsgroup Pane.
• Select Actions -> Catch Up Newsgroup from the menu.
  

Catching Up All Newsgroups for a Server

• Select a newsgroup server from the Server / Newsgroup Pane
• Select Actions -> Catch Up Server from the menu.
