Create and Delete Albums
With Photo DVD Maker, you can create new albums easily.
The Album Toolbar provides two options: creating a photo album (slideshow) and deleting an existing one.
New: Create a new album.
Delete: Delete the selected photo album.
Click New to create a new album. There are several ways to create a slideshow. You can manually add photos by drag-and-drop from local drive. You can also add the whole folder and its sub-folders to the photo album by Batch Collect. Right-click on the slideshow list panel and choose "Batch Collect" in the pop-up menu and then check your desired folder and all photos in the folder will be added to the slideshow with the same name of folders and its subfolders respectively.
If you want to create more than one album in the slideshow, you need to use the multi-album feature in Photo DVD Maker as follows:
- In the "Organize Photos" window, click the "New" button. There will be a pop-up window where you need to input the album name.
- Select photos and add photos to the selected album.
- Repeat above steps to add more slideshows.
If you would like to burn more than one slideshow on the disc, you need to use this feature. Actually, each album can be regarded as an individual slideshow, and you can apply different album theme, background music to each of them. The reason for using multi-album feature to burn more than one slideshow on disc is the ¡°DAO¡± technique. After the DVD disc is burned once, the Disc At Once (DAO) technique finalizes the DVD disc and it will not be used again for burning purpose. This is also the reason why every time you need to burn to a new DVD-R or DVD-RW (need to be overwritten) after you create the photo album project.
In the burned CD/DVD disc, each disc menu selects the first photo of your photo slideshows (photo albums) you've prepared in the above step. You may also design the disc menu in the Choose Menus window to change the text, font and background image of the photo album. Actually, each item in the disc menu is a navigation link for each slideshow. When you see the main disc menu, please remember to press the digital button ( 1, 2, 3,..) on your DVD player's remote control to play the corresponding slide shows.
