Burning Data CD in KSB

As well as burning an audio CD Karaoke Sing-n-Burn also supports burning Data CDs. This allows you to create a Data CD of your recorded Performance [.PFC files], by creating a simple Data CD [Not a Audio CD] in which you can Burn a file of any kind (such as CD burning software) onto the CD.

To burn a CD of your recording, click Burn CD which is on the main UI of Karaoke Sing-n-Burn or File->Burn CD menu option [Shortcut key F5].

You will see the Burn UI of Karaoke Sing-n-Burn. You can add files [Wave or Mp3 format] in the burn list. Select the Data CD button and add files [PFC, Txt, Doc, Mp3 etc.] in burn list. You may now edit or save the burn list for use in future burning.

Once you have assembled a list to burn onto your Data CD, you can begin the burning process. You can burn a Data CD with multi-session support. Multi-session support allows you to write files again on the same CD, or you can uncheck the check box MultiSession Mode if you want to finalize the Data CD.

Before starting the burn operation, satisfy yourself that the listed tracks are the ones that you want to record. Make sure that the sequence of files is that what you want. Ensure that the CD has enough space by clicking Check for Free Space before you begin.

The following is the burning process:

a) Add the desired files to the burn list.

b) Place a blank recordable CD in the CD-writer.

c) Press Burn CD.

A dialog box will prompt you to select a CD-writing Speed from a selection list. The speeds available in this selection list vary according to the capability of the CD-writer.

[XP Users Please Note: Select the default CD-writing speed to write your CD.]

Click OK to proceed with burning your CD, or abort by clicking Cancel.

The recording process will begin and you will see a window displaying your new CD's progress towards completion.
