Using DVD Mode

To make the copy of the movie to DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW disc you should perform the next steps:

  • Select the DVD mode. (This can be done by pressing DVD button on the main window of application.)
  • Select the source drive with Video-DVD discs inserted in it. (Top combo box with drive names.)
  • Select the burner device which supports DVD burning. (Bottom combo box with drive names.)
  • Select the output folder. (This can be done through options dialog. You should press OPTIONS button to open Options Dialog. The logical drive with this folder should have at least 4.5 GB of free space to store temporal data.)
  • Press RUN button. (Green button with triangle.)
  • Select IFO file with information about the video chain you'd like to rip. (IFO file could be found on the DVD disc in VIDEO_TS folder.)
  • Select the desired movie clip from the list in the Video Chain dialog box. The audio chain and subtitles are also could be selected in this dialog box.
  • Press OK button in the Video Chain dialog box.
  • When the rippping stage will be completed the dialog box will appear to ask you to instert blank DVD+R/RW or DVD-R/RW disc into the destination device. (If the disc is already in the destination device, then just press OK button.)

For DVD5 (Single Layer) discs the steps with selecting IFO file and video chains will be skipped.

The progress bar in the main window will show the entire progress. You will be able to stop ripping in any time.
