Installation

You have received Discstarter either on CD-ROM or as a download from the internet. Please run the setup file on the computer on which you want to install Discstarter. You will be guided through the installation process by a setup wizard. During the installation you can define where you want to install Discstarter on your hard disk. We advise you to keep the default settings at this stage. After installation is finished you will find a new folder named "Discstarter" in your Windows Start Menu under "Programs". Here you will find shortcuts to a demo CD-ROM menu using Discstarter that shows many of the features that are provided by Discstarter. Also visible here will be a shortcut to this online manual and to the Discstarter Designer that is required to create new CD-ROM menus with Discstarter.
