Saving DVD To Folder
If your DVD burner isn't compatible, you can burn the disc to a folder instead. Then, using the software utility, compatible with the DVD burner, you can subsequently burn the final DVD.
Other reasons of burning to a folder:
- You want to burn a DVD later
- You are writing data from a network drive that doesn't have sufficient speed to write directly
- You want another person to burn this DVD
- Preserve a master copy of your master DVD
To save a disc to a folder:
- Set up your DVD disc as you normally would
- Choose FIle > Burn/Save or Click the Burn/Save button. The Burning/Saving Wizard dialog will appear
- In the Burning/Saving Wizard dialog, select Save to a folder and browse to the location on your hard disk where the DVD is to be saved.
