Printing IRS Forms
You can use TrakLoan to print 1098’s for your clients after you’ve posted the last monthly journal for the fiscal year. You must use IRS Forms 1098 L18A, B and C. These non NCR forms come as detached sheets so that TrakLoan can print each page of each set of three 1098’s individually.
To get to the IRS Form 1098 Printing screen (Figure 20) use the Print | 1098’s menu sequence.
Before you begin printing you need to calibrate the indentations from the top and left side of the form where printing will begin. TrakLoan comes with pre-set inden- tations: Top .4 inches, and Left .35 inches, but these indentations may not be exactly correct for your printer. To make final adjustments you need a ruler that will measure 10ths of an inch.
