Open Trade Statistics

At the top of the Trades tabs there are a few text boxes which have statistics. These are open trade statistics. Closed trade statistics are in the Analytics tab which will be discussed later. At the top of the Trades tab you see:

• Trades Open: This value tells you the how many total trades are currently open and is automatically calculated when entering new trades.
• Shares Open: This value tells you the total number of shares currently open and is automatically calculated when entering new trades.
• Net Liquidation Value: This cell tells you how much your current open trades are worth if you sold them. It is based on how many shares are currently held of each open security and then multiplied by the previous day’s closing price. To update this value, click the Update button on the top right of the Trades tab. This will download from the Yahoo Financial the most recent closing price for your open trades.
