Equity Charts

The Equity Charts tab allows you to see the overall monthly performance of your portfolio. This is accomplished by using your month ending balance that you receive from your broker statement. All statistics in the Portfolio Level and Modern Portfolio Theory of the Analytics tab are calculated off of the values entered in this tab. Furthermore, the charts in the Performance tab use these values to derive risk characteristics.

First we’ll go over an example portfolio that has already been created. Then we’ll walk through how to setup an account.

Note: Opening the example account includes both Account Values in the Equity Charts tab, as well as, trades in the Trades tab. We will be using this example account throughout the guide when describing features.
