Importing Data

My-CRM can import data from text , excel and dbase files. To import data select "Import Data" from the "Tools" drop down menu

Tools

After being asked to backup your data, you will be presented with the Import Data wizard.

Select Report Type

Select the file type of the data you wish to import and click on the "Next" button

Select File Type of Data

Select the file you wish to import then click on the next button

Contacts

You can import data into either the contacts and product database. If you are importing your data into the contacts database you have the option to import them as Customers, Suppliers, Prospects or Personal contacts. Click on next after making your selection

Import Fields

You will then be presented with the list of My-CRM fields in the lef column. Select the field from the imported file (right column) to match the My-CRM field.

Once you have matched up the required fields click on the next button and then click on the "Start Import" button to import your data
