Trouble Shooting
The following is a list of some problems you might face and their solutions:
Database is corrupt.
Problem: You are unable to open the database or you get unusual error messages while using the product. Database does not sort in the correct order.
Causes: Database may be corrupt. This may happen if the computer or Server is abnormally shut down while the program is writing to the database
Solution: You will need to repair the database.
Database Repair
Should your database become corrupt, you may need to repair or optimize it. Invoice provides you with the necessary tools to do this.
- Close your database.
- Use the menu command : Database | Pack/ Repair. The Optimize/ Repair Database form will be displayed.
- Select the Database you wish to repair then click the repair button.
IMPORTANT !
Do not interrupt the repair at this could result in irrepairable damage to you database. The repair progress will be displayed, please wait untill you are shown the Repair Complete dialog box. |
