Setting Up SmartCodeComponent
After the installation, SmartCodeComponent can be immediately inserted into all Windows applications that supports OLE Server. These include most Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel.
Setting up SmartCodeComponent in Microsoft Word
- Open Microsoft Word
- Goto the menu and click on Insert->Object.
- Choose Object Type as SmartCodeComponent and click OK. SmartCodeComponent will be inserted into the Word Document.
- Double click on the barcode object to launch the user dialog to modify the behaviour of the barcodes.
Setting up SmartCodeComponent in Microsoft Excel
- Open Microsoft Excel
- Goto the menu and click on Insert->Object
- Choose Object Type as SmartCodeComponent and click OK. SmartCodeComponent will be inserted into the Excel Document.
- Double click on the barcode object to launch the user dialog to modify the behaviour of the barcodes.
Setting up SmartCodeComponent in Microsoft Publisher
- Open Microsoft Publisher
- Goto the menu and click on Insert->Object
- Choose Object Type as SmartCodeComponent and click OK. SmartCodeComponent will be inserted into the Publisher Document.
- Double click on the barcode object to launch the user dialog to modify the behaviour of the barcodes.
Setting up SmartCodeComponent in WordPad
- Open WordPad
- Goto the menu and click on Insert->Object.
- Choose Object Type as SmartCodeComponent and click OK. SmartCodeComponent will be inserted into the Word Pad document.
- Double click on the barcode object to launch the user dialog to modify the behaviour of the barcodes.
