Code Type Tab
This tab allows you to specify the type (also known as symbology) of barcode to generate. The description of the barcode appears on the right hand side when a particular symbology is selected.
Include Check Digit - This option allows you to specify whether to generate a check digit in the barcode. It is only applicable to certain barcodes. The check digit appears as data in the barcode itself. Some barcode symbologies require the check digit to be always generated.
UPC/EAN Extension - For UPCA, EAN13, EAN8, UPCE, ISBN, ISSN type of barcodes, a UPC/EAN extension can be added. The extension can be a 2 digit or 5 digit extension.
Bearer's Bar
- Bearer's Bar Type - Rectangle , Top/Bottom or None
- Bearer's bar Thickness - thickness of the Bearer's bar in terms of the barcode narrow bar width
- Quiet Zone - the left and right margin spacing in terms of barcode narrow width
