Datasheet is a collection of information related to a particular subject or purpose, such as the type of information needed to print a Text object or bar code. You can input data by yourself freely just like MS Excel, and you can also import data from an ASCII text file, Excel XLS file, Access MDB table ... , with Barcode Label Workshop Enterprise Edition, you can connect datasheet to a database, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle ... and query data by SQL command.
You can access Datasheet window by main menu 'Data\Datasheet...', or click the 'Data' button in main window.

Input data to datasheet:
- Rows
Click menu Rows to insert, delete, clear rows just like in Excel.
Insert blank row: inserts an empty row before current row.
Clear current row data: clears contents of all cells in current row.
Delete current row: Removes current row, all contents in this row will be lost.
Delete all rows: Removes all rows in data grid, all contents in data grid will be lost.
- Columns
Click menu Columns to add, rename, delete, clear rows just like you operate them in Excel.
Add a new column: inserts an empty column with given name before current column.
Rename Column: rename current column's name.
Clear current Column data: clears contents of all cells in current column.
Delete current Column: Removes current column, all contents in this column will be lost.
Delete all Columns: Removes all rows and all columns in data grid, all contents in data grid will be lost.
- Fill Sequence Data
You can generate a serial data fill into grid column by click menu Fill Sequence Data.
Set the Fixed Prefix, Fixed Suffix, Serial Prefix(must be numeric), Serial Suffix(must be numeric) value for the Sequence data, the resulting data = Fixed Prefix + Sequence + Serial Suffix.
- Importing Data
Click menu Import Data to import data from ASCII text file, Excel XLS file, Access MDB table etc
- *Connect Datasheet to Database:
Click menu Connect to Database , you can query data from database by SQL command.
*Note: Only enterprise edition supports connecting to database.
