Zip File & Backup File
TurboBackup offers you two compression format options: Compress to Zip format (.zip) and Compress to Backup format (.tbz). Backups created in .tbz format retain source drives information and restore will recognize this information and have data, and files and folders retored to the same drive letters, i.e. C drive back to C drive and D drive back to D drive and so on. This is recommended for emergency restore or drive synchronization. Backups created in .tbz require TurboBackup to restore. On the other hand, Backups created as Zip (.zip) can be restored with TurboZIP or other Zip utilities.
