Use Archive Attribute to Back up

You have the option to back up only those files that have not been archived (listed with "A" shown in file attributes). You also have the option whether to reset the archive bit (turn off "A").

How to back up only those files that have not been archived?

You can set global option in the Tools > Default Options menu, Backup page by selecting the Incremental Backup (based archive bit) to the new place option. Global settings will apply to all backup tasks. You can also set the Add archive files only option just for the selected task by clicking the Options button in the Backup Wizard Review dialog.

How to reset files as archived?

You can set global option in the Tools > Default Options menu, Backup page by checking off the Reset files as archived option and the file attribute will be reset (turn off "A" after the file backup has been performed. Global settings will apply to all backup tasks. You can also set the Reset files as archived option just for the selected task by clicking the Options button in the Backup Wizard Review dialog.
