Firewall (Remote Backup)
You can use the Tools > Program Options menu, Firewall tab to configure necessary local firewall options, if a firewall is present, so you can access the remote backup server.
Firewall Information
Host name: - This is the field for your firewall host name.
Port: This field allows you to specify the port number through which you will be connecting. The default port number is 21.
Firewall Logon Information
Name: - This is the field for your firewall login name.
Password: - This is the field for your firewall login password.
Save - Checked off to save password. Otherwise, TurboBackup is going to prompt you for the password.
Firewall type - In order to enter any firewall information you must first select the type of firewall. Your choices are listed below:
None - no firewall (default selection)
SITE hostname - send the firewall User and Password commands first, then send the Site command with host name before logon to FTP.
USER after logon - send the firewall User and Password commands first, then send the User command with username@hostname to logon to FTP before sending the FTP Password command.
Proxy OPEN - send the OPEN command with host name before logon to FTP.
Transparent - send the firewall User and Password commands before logon to FTP.
USER with no logon - send the User command with username@hostname to logon to FTP before sending the FTP Password command.
USER with FireID@remoteHost - send the User command with firewall-username@hostname, then send firewall Password before logon to FTP.
USER remoteID@remoteHost fire ID - send the USER command with username@hostname firewall_username as FTP logon before sending the FTP Password command.
USER remoteID@fireID@remoteHost - send the USER command with username@firewall_username@hostname to logon FTP, then send FTP Password Command with password@firewall_password.
