Copy Existing Backup File(s) to DVD/CD
You can copy backup task created on Hard Disk Drive onto DVD or CD, including copying multiple-volume backup files from Hard Disk Drive to DVD/CD. Select the backup task or catalog item in the left panel and use the File/Burn onto DVD or CD menu to display the Burn onto DVD/CD dialog to burn existing backups onto DVD/CD.
What to Back up and Where to Store
- Path (Target): This entry is optional. Enter partial path information (no drive letter needed) to have your backup stored in a subfolder. You may also leave this entry blank to back up to the root directory.
- Check off the Multiple-volume support box if you will be burning multiple volume to DVD/CD.
- Click on the OK button when you are finished to display the Burn DVD/CD dialog.
TurboBackup offers Simplified DVD/CD Interface, which lets you skip the Create Data DVD/CD dialog. You can turn it on and off in the Tools/Use Simplified DVD/CD Interface menu. When Use Simplified DVD/CVD Interface menu is not selected, you will have more options in the Create Data DVD/CD dialog to burn CD/DVD. If you want to have more control over the burning process, especially when burning multiple volumes to DVD/CD, it is recommended that you turn off the Simplified DVD/CD Interface.
At the bottom of the Create Data DVD/CD dialog, it displays the size of your backup, available disc space, and total disc capacity. If you copy multiple volumes to DVD/CD, you have the option of burning more than one volume to a single DVD/CD. This feature is often useful to overcome the 2GB limit when burning Zip (.zip) or Backup (.tbz) backup files to DVD.
