Comment & Password

The Comment and Password options are only available when you choose Zip (.zip) or Backup (.tbz) * compressions.

* Not applicable to multiple-volume Backup file

Select the Comment Options

• No, thank you disables the option.
• Yes, please makes the area below available for you to add your comment. If a comment already exists in a Zip or Backup file to which you are adding files, it will appear in the comment area. It can be edited or left intact.

Password protect the Backup

• No, thank you will cause the files you are currently adding to remain unencrypted. Any encrypted files in an existing backup ZIP will remain encrypted.
• Yes, please makes the area below available to enter your password; only those files currently being added will be encrypted with the password you enter.
• If files contained within an existing Zip or Backup file to which you are adding files are password protected, a message will appear alerting you of that fact.
