Backup Server Login & FTP Login

Backup Server Login

You have the option to subscribe to FileStream Remote Backup Server for RAID 1 offsite backup. If you want to backup to FileStream Backup Server, choose Back up to FileStream Backup server on the "Where to store" page in the Backup Wizard. You have the option to enter a folder or path for login, plus a file name for .zip or Backup (.tbz) file. Click on the Options button on the last page of the wizard to enter or change Backup Server Login and default transfer settings. You can enter Subscriber Login ID and login password. Check off the Save option box if you want this information saved on your computer. Otherwise, you will be prompted for password each time.

FTP Login

Site Information

Address - This field asks you to enter the address of the site you wish to connect to, e.g. “ftp.microsoft.com” to enter that site. If you want to enter a specific folder of a site, you can enter the folder information in the Backup Wizard, on the Where to Store backup wizard page.

Port - This field allows you to specify the port number through which you will be connecting. The default port number is 21.

Passive Mode Passive Mode - Checking off this option will enable a passive mode connection.

User Information

Anonymous Anonymous Check off this option will make your identity unknown while you browse the FTP server. Depending on the FTP site, your accessibility may be limited. No need to enter Password and User ID when this option is checked off.
User ID - enter your login User ID

Password - enter your login password. Check off the Save option box to save your login and password on your computer.
