Set Schedule

This topic describes the wizard page for specifying the schedule for the transaction log backups.

Set Schedule

The schedule defines the time and frequency of the backups. For example, you may want to make transaction log backups every 5 minutes.

digital camera files recovery files retrieval tools recovers lost files
data recovery software download file recovery software downloads Download data salvage tool
data recovery utility Data Doctor Recovery Windows FAT Best file recovery software

A default schedule is displayed for the backups. To change the schedule, click Edit, and on the Schedule Editor, specify the schedule and click OK.

You are recommended to use the backup schedule as a basis for the restore schedule. Click Base on transaction log backup schedule and in Offset, type or select the number of minutes by which you want to delay the restore operation after the backup has started. The offset time should be long enough to allow the backup to complete.

Alternatively, you can set up a separate schedule for the restore operations. Click Specify a schedule. To change the default schedule, click Edit and on the Schedule Editor, specify the schedule and click OK.
