Set Player Profile
Set player skin
Switch to the Player skin tab, then you can set the player control bar style and background color.
- Select a style from the drop down lists: Classic, Opaque, Translucent and Transparent.
- To set the video color, select one from the Background color drop-down list.
Note:
The player skin only takes effect in the output Flash file. To get the effect, you must choose one option under Generate Flash.
Setting player profile
To set the player profile, switch to the Player Profile tab. By default, there is a default profile you can get. What's more, you can create a new player profile, and save it for next using.
In the Skin Settings section:
- To show the player controls in the output video, select False from the Skin auto hide drop-down list.
- In the Skin hide delay box, set the delay time for the player controls to hide with.
- Choose True or False from the Auto resize drop-down box to set the player controls to auto resize the video when the player window size is changed.
- To get better video effect, select True from the Smooth video drop-down list.
- Set the Maintain aspect ratio to be true, the video will maintain aspect ratio when the player window size is changed.
- If you want to show the big play button, set the Allow big play button to be true.
- From the Panel color drop-down list, select a color to set the player control bar color.
- In the Min width box, set the player minimum width. When the player width is less than the minimum width, the two vertical sides of the video will be cut off, instead of being stretched to match the width of the player.
- Set the player minimum height in the Min height box. When the player height is less than the minimum height, the two horizontal sides of the video will be cut off, instead of being stretched to match the height of the player.
In the Play Settings section:
- To auto play the video when it is opened, set the Auto play to be true.
- Set the Mouse auto hide to be true, the mouse will auto hide when the player skin hides.
- In the Buffer time box, set the buffer time, the amount of video content, will be temporarily cached to the your computer.
- To set the video won't be loaded when it is stopped, check the Unload on top box.
- Select True in the Mute drop-down list box, the video will be mute when it plays.
- In the Volume box, set the volume to play at the percentage as the video begins to play.
In the Navigation on click section:
- In the Video link box, set the URL that will be opened when you click the video screen.
- Select True from the Video link target drop-down box, the URL will be opened in the browser.
In the Play action section:
- Specify an URL in the Play URL box, The URL to be accessed in background using http GET method when the video start to play, if movieId is set, a parameter named movieId will be passed to the URL.
- The string in the Movie ID box will be passed to Play URL, which is used to count the video playing hits.
In the Navigation at end section:
- Specify the URL that will be accessed when the video comes to the end in the End URL box.
- Select an option from the End URL target drop-down list to set the window to open the End URL.
- When endURLTarget is _swf that indicates the endURL is a URL of SWF file, the endURL Target will be loaded into current Flash player window; when endURLTarget is _flv that indicates the endURL is a URL of FLV file, and the endURLTarget will be loaded in the current window and replace the current video.
In the Event section:
- Specify the name of a Javascript function that will process the player events in the Event handler box. The function has a parameter named 'info',and it's an object which contains a list of event information, including event name, and event parameters.info.name event name.
Note:
The player profile includes the video effects and the control bar settings. This will help to reinforce your video effects and strengthen the video control only when you check Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline in the output settings.
Add special effect
To add special effect to the video, switch to the Special Effects tab.
- Select a effect you like from the right box. Here are lot of special effects, such as butterfly, leaf, goldfish, etc.
- Then click the Float button on the left to view the effect in a standalone player.
Note:
All of the settings only take effect when you choose Generate Flash (SWF) in the previous interface.
Add preloader
To add preloader to the video, switch to the Preloader tab.
- First, select a preloader in the right box.
- Then, you can preview the effect in the left preview window.
- Alternatively, click the Float button to preview the effect in a standalone player.
Note:
The preloader will only appear in the output Flash. To get the preloader in your video, you must choose Generate Flash in the previous interface.
