Tuning Packing Parameters

Field "Source" – file-source.

Field "Result" - file after compression and decompression of file-source (use for the play and comparison of the sound quality).

"Browse file" button for the searching for file on the disk and "Play" button are situated near.

Do following for best Q fitting:

1. Set file with the typical quality of sound, (recorded, for instance, standard Windows application "Sound Recorder") as a Source.
2. Set a filename for Result.
3. Set parameters, for example: Q=50.
4. Press "Start" button.
5. Source will compress and decompressed in file Result, compression factor will be displayed in the upper line of the window. Press "Play" near "Result" to play Result. Press "Play" near "Source" to play Source, if needed.
6. Finish fitting if degree of compression and quality of sound are OK. Else change the Q parameter (increase to quality of sound raise, decrease to degrees of compression raise), or change X parameter (sometimes, it allows to obtain the greater compression by same quality of sound). Go to the step 4.
7. Press "OK" to assign values for the system.
