Recording
"Channel" - choice of the channel for tuning.
"Title" - channel title (for example, "Telephone-1","Microphone" and etc.).
"Device" - choice of the recording device. If you use more then 1 sound card, please remember, that the same device may be choosen for pairs of channels 1-2, 3-4 and so on.
Button "Source" calls panel for selecting the kind of signal source ("Microphone" or "Line In") and tune the sensitivity of corresponding input.
"Record > Minimal duration" - the archiving system will ignore message with length less given. This parameter allows to exclude a false operating of recording system, appear because of strays in line or at dialing of phone number. Recommended value of this parameter is 2..4 seconds.
"Record > Auto breaking" - if length of fragment of record exceeds a value of this parameter the automatic archiving and adding of fragment into database will occur. It is useful in the continuous mode of recording: splitting of very long fragment on several ones occurs automatically. Recommended value of this parameter is 5 minutes. At the very big values of this parameter you should deal with the very large fragments of record. Besides it is necessary to remember, that 1 min for recording cache requires 1.92MB of disk space (8 KHz, 8 bits).
"Voice activated system (VAS) > Activation level" - allows to control the sensitivity of voice activation system (VAS). If signal level (noise) less given, the signal will not be register. Value of this parameter depends on qualities of the sound card, microphone, telephone line and etc. and can vary in the wide range. For the automatic determination of level of activation press the "Tune" button. Keep quiet till the procedure complete. You will be issued value to be assigned to "Activation level" parameter. If the system remains very sensitive to the noises, increase the value until required result will be achieved.
"Voice activated system (VAS) > OFF delay (sec)" - a time interval. When signal level becomes less activation level, recording yet will continue during the interval. If signal does not exceed an activation level during the interval then fragment of record will be registered as finished. Such function is necessary, for example, to the phonogram of unhurried conversation with long pauses was not interpret by the system as several phonograms. Recommended parameter value - 2...4 seconds.
“Activate on Game-port > On” - activate/deactivate recording, using Game-port. If your computer has some sound cards, game-port of the corresponding card is used. By default Recording is activated by connecting corresponding pin with Ground (log. 0).

“Activate on Game-port > Invert” - inversion of activation signal (log. 1).
“Activate on Game-port > Joyst. ID” - Joystick ID for the tunned channel. As rule, first sound card has ID=1, second - ID=2 and so on. Select this parameter experimentally.
“Activate on Game-port > Config” calls standard Windows “Game Controllers” panel to adjust Game Controllers ports.
“Direct listening > Device” - choice of the sound device for direct listening.
