Troubleshooting
WebShifter keeps a log of all user activity.
By default this log is limited because for performance reasons.
If WebShifter is showing unexpected behaviour, you can check the log for errors by right clicking the WebShifter icon in the taskbar and selecting 'Log'.
This will show the following window:

Explanation of the buttons:
Start |
This will start the webserver, allowing you to access WebShifter with your browser |
Stop |
This will stop the webserver, disabling web access to WebShifter |
Clear |
This will clear the log |
Explanation of the checkboxes:
Display header |
This will display some additional information about every request made to the webserver |
Debug |
This will significantly increase the level of detail in the log. Only use this for troubleshooting or at the request of the author. Leaving this option enabled causes WebShifter to respond much slower. |
Write to logfile |
This will make WebShifter write every logentry to webshifter.log in the WebShifter installation folder. |
