Do not ask for a password if your browser runs on the same PC as WebShifter

Support connections...

If you access WebShifter from the internet and you are using a so called multi-homed proxy server, WebShifter will keep asking you for a password everytime you try to access a webpage. Enabling this option will eliminate that behaviour. Only enable this if you experience this problem, because it is a little less secure.

Automatically logout after

WebShifter will terminate your session if you did not access WebShifter for the specified number of minutes, requiring you logon again. Each session requires a certain amount of memory, so freeing up unused sessions will prevent unnecessary use of the computers memory.

Wake PC from stand by...

Tells WebShifter to wake up your PC from stand by or hibernation. Do not set this setting to a value that is to low, as it takes your PC some time to wake up.

Block stand by/hibernate

WebShifter will block going to stand by or hibernation if a recording is about to start within the specified number of minutes.
