Support connections... |
If you access WebShifter from the internet and you are using a so called multi-homed proxy server, WebShifter will keep asking you for a password everytime you try to access a webpage. Enabling this option will eliminate that behaviour. Only enable this if you experience this problem, because it is a little less secure. |
Automatically logout after |
WebShifter will terminate your session if you did not access WebShifter for the specified number of minutes, requiring you logon again. Each session requires a certain amount of memory, so freeing up unused sessions will prevent unnecessary use of the computers memory. |
Wake PC from stand by... |
Tells WebShifter to wake up your PC from stand by or hibernation. Do not set this setting to a value that is to low, as it takes your PC some time to wake up. |
Block stand by/hibernate |
WebShifter will block going to stand by or hibernation if a recording is about to start within the specified number of minutes. |
