How to update the stations database?
We have included with PureRadio an Automatic Radio Station Updates Program. You can access it by clicking on PureRadio menu, click on the menu item "Update Station Database".
A Window will pop up with option to click on Start Update or Cancel Update. To start the update, click on Start Update. PureRadio will then be closed off automatically (even if it is playing). You will need to have an open connection to the Internet or the update will report an error. It will check to see if there is any updates available, if so, it will start to download it. If no updates are required, it will report so.
After a successful download, it will update the current station database with the new one.
At the moment, any new information you have added such as new stations or amended station details will not be reflected in the new database. We will fix this in the next release.
When we have a new database with updated stations, we will post a note on our website.
